Position Summary:

  • The Toronto Corporate Receptionist represents Brookfield and the Brookfield brand by creating an appropriate & professional "experience," for all guests and business associates when they visit the corporate office. This role comanages the reception desk and client conference center, representing 550 employees and 7 business units. As the first point of contact for guests, the Corporate Receptionist must always present an energetic, polished, professional image to the public and Brookfield personnel while providing prompt information and assistance. The Corporate Receptionist is responsible for welcoming all guests while managing the main Brookfield telephone lines, inquiry resolution, conference center as well as other detailoriented, administrative tasks in a fastpaced, multibusiness unit environment
  • Responsibilities:
  • General conference center
  • Screen all incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate parties; collect and distribute phone messages in close coordination with Brookfield administrative and executive staff members
  • Ensure the reception area/office is well maintained in coordination with facilities
  • Work in conjunction with ensuring the Day Matrons are up to date with meeting room requests and proactively ensure all rooms are fully stocked and kept clean post meeting


  • Administrative Support

  • Assist the Office Services team with various administrative submissions on ad hoc
  • Keeping office services information system and resources updated accurately and timely
  • Assist with coordinating team events
  • Ad hoc correspondence, letters and tracking lists using Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • Other duties

  • Work in conjunction with the Facilities Supervisor and building management to oversee office work orders (e.g. maintenance requests) messenger services, mail deliveries and other office requests
  • Order and track building security passcards, including Third Party Vendor cards
  • Assist the Conference Supervisor with ordering and delivery of all kitchen supplies
