We're looking for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join our Warehouse team in the role of
Coordinator, Materials and Inventory

As a Coordinator, Materials and Inventory, you will.

  • Receive stock and materials and enter into computerized system
  • Review requests for packaging materials inbound to site and crossreference with existing stock and production schedule to ensure proper stock on hand
  • Review intrasite material requests by other departments for accuracy
  • Make adjustments to/cancel requests as needed
  • Perform weekly cycle counts of consumables to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Perform general activities in order to pick, pack, sort, and move shipments
  • Maintain safe working conditions and keep warehouse areas clean and organized
  • Where applicable, must adhere to Aurora's SOPs and comply with Health Canada's Cannabis Act. In addition, must adhere to all ISO requirements and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
  • Where applicable, promote and maintain GMP requirements
  • Assist Supervisors and other Coordinators in day to day functions
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure timely and effective operations, including irrigation and facility maintenance
  • Recognize unsafe conditions and practices, and make corrections to prevent injuries and product loss
  • Physical effort is required lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working with step ladders (i.e. two step ladder/single sided step ladder)
  • General organization of the warehouse space including rotation of stock to maintain FIFO
  • Other duties as required

You would be the best fit for this role if you have

  • 2+ years ERP experience. Experience with SAGE X3 and SAP considered an asset in a similar role
  • 2+ years' proven warehouse experience
  • Completion of High School Diploma
  • Forklift operation, pallet jack and hand truck experience preferred
  • Knowledge of GMP is considered an asset
  • Must have good organizational skills
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Must be detailoriented
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be team player, have a courteous helpful attitude and work well with others
  • Good English communication skills both verbal and written

  • Previous experience working with cannabis considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
