Bordered by rugged mountains and situated on a peninsula (no, it's not an Island) in the traditional territory of the shíshálh (Sechelt) and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) First Nations, this area is known for its mild winters, beautiful surroundings, arts, recreation, and culture, and it is a preferred tourist destination and great place to live, work and play.
What do you like to do as virtually anything you might enjoy is here.You can hike the amazing trails, bike, camp, kayak, golf, do fiber arts, crafts, snowshoe, fish, scuba dive, windsurf, or as was portrayed in the former TV show on CBC, even get into some beachcombing here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
This casual exempt position includes an annual salary ranging from
$61.55 per hour up to a merit maximum of
$78.17 per hour.
Work hours may vary, depending on operational requirements, and we are currently operating in a hybrid work environment with flexible work schedules, all by mutual agreement.
After passing probation, this position offers an additional 8% in lieu of vacation, paid out each pay period, as well as 5% in lieu of statutory holiday pay (after 30 days' employment), and pro-rated sick leave per Employment Standards Act (ESA).
