Description

Responsibilities:

Assist steel stud framers and drywallers with measuring, cutting, and installing metal framing and drywall
Load and unload construction materials and equipment
Operate hand and power tools required for the job
Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to all safety regulations and building codes
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Learn new skills and techniques to improve work efficiency and quality

Requirements:

Available to work Monday-Friday with availability to work some weekends when required
You must be proficient in hand and power tools and have onsite construction experience
Must have own tools to perform all aspects of work is required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, with experience in steel stud framing and drywalling preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and equipment
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
WHIMIS, Fall Arrest and First Aid Certificates _is an asset but not required_
Must have proper PPE
