Job Type:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day with some overtime
Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Assist vacuum truck drivers with loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Perform general yard labour, including organizing and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Move and transport barrels using appropriate equipment and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant provincial and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, reporting any issues or concerns promptly
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a labourintensive role, preferably in a related industry
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, is considered an asset
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and occasionally work overtime as needed
