RESPONSIBILITIES
This role requires availability for rotating 10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday with additional overtime as required. Day shift 7:00am - 5:00pm, afternoon shift 5:00 pm - 3:00am.

Responsible for safely operating a 10 ton and 25 ton crane for installing and removing production tooling.
Responsible for setting up tooling in die cast machines to run production.
Install auxiliary equipment as required.
Machine setup as outlined on master setup instruction parameters
Troubleshooting and repairing issues with cast dies during production.
Polishing and removing aluminum and graphite from tooling.
Assembling and disassembling complex cast dies.
Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Work in a safe, efficient manner in cooperation with other factory employees.
Accurate, concise completion of downtime logs at the end of each shift.
Conduct visual inspection of all cranes, forklifts, lifting equipment and tools for safe operation

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

35 years experience in an aluminum diecasting environment preferred
Problem Solving & Troubleshooting skills
1 or more years of Crane or Forklift experience
TIG welding experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work with hand tools in a mechanical setting
Comfortable working within confined spaces
Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
Highly organized, and selfmotivated with above average time management skills
Ability to prioritize and multi task in a fastpaced environment and adapt quickly and effectively to change
Computer literate and mechanically inclined
Strong hand/eye coordination
Team player, able to work well with others
Good housekeeping in the work area of responsibility
