Description

We are currently seeking an Estimator/Repair Planner who is self motivated and has the ability to examin the damages on a vehicle and prepare estimates accordingly using Mitchell Connect, Mithcell Ultramate and/or Audatex Qapter.

The Estimator/Repair Planner will determine the costs associated with repairing, restoring, upgrading and/or replacing damaged parts.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Treat each customer encounter with best in class customer service
  • Inspect vehicles for damages and evaluate using visual inspection, mechanical testing devices, road tests and information provided by the customer
  • Estimating the costs and times for the repair and restoration of each vehicle.
  • Collect insurance estimates after reviewing damage
  • Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
  • Ensure compliance with Operating Way's regarding customer dropoffs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
  • Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
  • Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
  • Participate in daily "production walks" with the Management Team, as required Support all team members when required
  • Coordinating work processes with the technicians and other departments of the organization
  • Following automobile industry safety norms and standards
  • Customer service, which include, but are not limited to: answering all customer inquiries and explaining the complete repair process in detail to ensure the customer has a clear undetrstanding of their repair estimate
  • Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings (when required)
  • Attend training information sessions and workshops (if required) to assist in maintaining the companies KPI's by maximizing their role performance

Qualitications and Skills:


  • Minimum One year experience of estimating/collision theory
  • Team Player with a positive attitude and can work well with others.
  • Proficient in RepairCenter, Mitchell Connect, Mitchell Ultramate and Audatex Qapter
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects related to the mechanical operation and body structure of various automobiles and light duty trucks
  • Solid knowledge of the Automotive and Collision industry
  • Familiar with insurance company policies & procedure
  • Prior experience working in a similar role, sales oriented and driven to generate new collision business
  • Customer Service oriented, you would require to have excellent people skills when interacting directly with customers and coworkers
  • Excellent telephone manners/skills
  • Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Salary based on experience
