Are you a skilled crane operator looking for an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge self-erecting cranes? Join our team at JPD Contracting as a Self-Erecting Crane Operator

Responsibilities:

Operate and control selferecting cranes in a safe and efficient manner according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
Perform preoperational checks on the crane's equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
Safely lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites, following precise instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
Collaborate with ground crews and communicate effectively using hand signals, radio communication, or other appropriate methods.
Inspect and maintain the crane, reporting any malfunctions, damage, or potential safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others on the construction site.
Complete daily logs, reports, and documentation related to crane operations and maintenance activities.
Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and other relevant training programs.

Qualifications:

Valid crane operator certification/license.
Proven experience operating selferecting cranes in construction or related industries.
Strong understanding of crane operations, rigging techniques, and safety protocols.
Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals, load charts, and specifications.
Excellent handeye coordination and depth perception, with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
Safetyconscious mindset and adherence to safety regulations at all times.

Salary:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour
