Position Summary:
Provide direct nursing care to patients to ensure compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high-quality clinical care.
Essential Functions:
- Must be a Regulated Health Care Professional (Lab Technician, Registered Practical Nurse or equivalent).
- Provide direct care to patients in the Interventional Pain Clinics alongside the Medical Team
- Must have Medical Office experience
- Assist healthcare providers and administrative staff with maintaining patient flow to ensure patients are seen timely and efficiently
- Serve as a backup for team members as appropriate when needed due to staffing needs including vacations, illnesses, lunches, etc.
- Attend clinical meetings and training sessions meetings pertinent to position
- Maintain excellent communication and effective working relationships with patients, providers, clinical and clerical team members
- Maintain college certifications or licensures as applicable
- Must be BLS certified
- Perform all other administrative duties as assigned.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of electronic medical record and practice management systems, Telus PS Suites an asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of medical office safety, cleanliness and infection control policies and regulations

Education and Experience:
- Must be a Regulated Health Care Professional (Laboratory Technician, Registered Practical Nurse or equivalent)
- Experiencing initiating IVs (strongly preferred)
- Experience in Interventional Pain (an asset)
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary:
$17.00-$30.00 per hour
