Job Purpose:


The HR Associate has the overall responsibility of overseeing matters related to the Employees within the firm, including but not limited to HR Administration, recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, employee development and policy compliance.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the onboarding process; preparation of employment documents, engage employee, provide induction training.
  • Ensure training are completed as per our internal policy and work with the mentor to ensure training documents are prepared and uploaded accordingly.
  • Contribute towards offboarding process; carry out exit interviews, ensure that the employee is terminated according to company policies.
  • Oversee all administrative aspects related to the HR Department.
  • Performance management; provide assistance with performance appraisals and employee surveys.
  • Assist with employee's grievances and ensure that the Group disciplinary action policy is adhered to.
  • Oversee Health & Safety.
  • Contribute and review HR Policies and procedures ensuring compliance with respective jurisdictional laws and ensuring employees are abiding by the policies
  • Updating and maintaining employee's records on People HR Software.
  • Adherence to moral and ethical principles of the Firm.
  • Provide general HR guidance and advise.
  • Keeping track of employee probation periods and insurance benefits.

Key Skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within an international organisation
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar field
  • Technological awareness
  • Knowledge and expertise in HRM, HRD
  • Sound knowledge of American and Canadian employment legislation
  • Experience with LATAM labor laws is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi task
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Judgment and decision making competency
  • Ability to plan strategically and ensure firm's mission and vision is adhered to

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
$65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
