Financial Analyst (New Grads & Students)

What you'll be working on:

Assist in the preparation of working papers, statements, reports and surveys to support accurate financial reporting for a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Monitor, review, analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and proactively identify and report on variances.
Coordinate transactional investigation with other business units and implement timely adjustments when needed.
Assist in the analysis and forecast of the Company's near term cash flow requirements and preparation for the instructions for external business partners to facilitate the movement of funds.
Actively facilitate the month end close process and month end analysis for various accounts.
Work with other Finance team members to continuously improve and automate team processes and templates.

What you'll need to have:

Currently pursuing your post-secondary degree and have demonstrated academic excellence. You are graduating in the Spring or Summer of 2023 in a relevant program such as accounting, finance, business administration, accounting, or math

Strong numerical literacy and ability to work confidently with numbers
Ability to think logically, analyze and solve problems
Strong attention to detail required
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate and build relationships

It would be nice for you to have:
Knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and word processing software
