Title of the Position:
Tile Installer

Main duties:

Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Align and straighten tiles
Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs
Estimate costs and materials
Utilize hand and power tools
Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
Determine layout and installation procedures
Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Prepare floors for installations
All other relevant tasks

Job and Skill Requirements:

3 years of experience as a tile installer
Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling and Repetitive task
Attention to detail and Fastpaced environment
Personal characteristics: Accurate, dependable, reliable, team player, punctual, organized and flexible
Completion of secondary school
