We currently have an opening for a person who is looking for a rewarding experience in out Talent & Culture team.


Under the supervision of the Director, Talent Management and Total Rewards, you will be responsible for supporting the business in the compensation field.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyzing compensation data to identify best practices trends and make recommendation to the business
  • Collaborating to conduct market assessment and build pay scales for Canada and US
  • Collaborating in the pay equity analysis exercise
  • Coordinating
  • Providing finance with annual budget of FTE's and Compensation working with practice areas and enabling functions to establish next year's budgeted requirements, including assumptions regarding pay scales, benefits, etc.
  • Liaising with the Talent & Culture department to discuss salary requirements for individual team members
  • Taking part of the yearend compensation cycle
  • Provide administrative support during the annual performance evaluation and the annual salary review processes
  • Coordinate and organize meetings and training sessions
  • Ad hoc tasks supporting the Talent & Culture team members

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business, finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in compensation or related filed.
  • Extensive knowledge of excel analysis
  • Good knowledge on payroll procedures, and best labor law practices.
  • Familiarity with payroll software such as Simple Pay and HR management systems like Bamboo HR.
  • Ability to collaborate with management and Talent & Culture team members to create efficient compensation plans.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary market statistics and pay scales.
  • Ability to show innovation and implement new compensation programs and systems as required.
