Position Overview:
As a Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative for Penticton towing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services by efficiently dispatching our fleet and delivering exceptional customer service.
Your responsibilities will involve coordinating tow truck operators, communicating with customers, and maintaining accurate records. We are seeking an organized, customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills to join our team.Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch Operations:
Receive and prioritize incoming service requests from customers, law enforcement agencies, and other sources.
Efficiently dispatch tow truck operators to the appropriate locations based on urgency, distance, and availability.
Maintain constant communication with drivers to provide updates, gather essential information, and ensure timely arrivals.
Monitor ongoing jobs and resolve any operational issues or emergencies in a calm and effective manner.
Utilize dispatch software or systems to track and document all activities accurately.
Customer Service:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, and providing accurate information about our services.
Assist customers in determining the appropriate type of service required based on their situation.
Offer empathy, patience, and a positive attitude when dealing with distressed or frustrated customers.
Provide accurate estimates for service charges and communicate billing details clearly.
Resolve customer complaints and conflicts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain detailed records of service requests, dispatch activities, and customer interactions.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other necessary paperwork promptly and accurately.
Update and maintain a comprehensive database of customer information, preferences, and recurring service requirements.
Collaborate with other team members, such as tow truck operators and administrative staff, to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18 per week
Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
