Safa & Marwa Islamic School is a private not-for profit school in its 26th year of operation. Safa & Marwa School is registered by the Ontario Ministry of Education. We offer a fully accredited program from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. We have an excellent working environment supported by a highly dedicated team.We are currently looking for a lunchtime/support/extended care supervisor for the academic year.
Employment Requirements:
- Knowledge of the Islamic faith and practice
- Positive attitude
- First Aid Training is an asset
Lunchtime Supervisor Expectations:
- Supervising middle school students eating their lunch
- Managing students' behaviour in accordance with SAM's Behaviour Policy
- Ensuring students clear up after use
- Informing the VP of any incidents or accidents that have occurred during the lunchtime break and recorded.
Support Staff Expectations:
- Support Junior Kindergarten classroom with tasks and student supervision
Extended Care Supervision Expectations:
- Supervising Extended Care students
- Create and execute program plan for Extended Care
- Managing students' behaviour in accordance with SAM's Behaviour Policy
- Ensuring students clear up before leaving
- Informing the VP of any incidents or accidents that have occurred during the Extended Care program and recorded.

Salary:
$16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 7.5 per week
