CASA Mental Health is looking for an experienced Program Support Specialist who is eager to make an impact in their community.

Wage range:
$22.55-$26.64 per hour


Shift structure:
Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day


Primary location:
Remote - Edmonton

About the Role
CASA Classrooms are CASA's new model for school-based mental health services.

The program addresses the need for services closer to students by bridging a child's mental health and school needs, through a coordinated approach by a mental health team and a teacher.

CASA Classrooms are delivered in partnership with the Government of Alberta, community partners and school divisions.


The Program Support Specialist will:

  • Greet and support patients and families as the first point of contact at CASA Classrooms.
  • Provide administrative, clinical and other program support, including staff scheduling and program intake.
  • Understand CASA Classrooms, where they are located, and where to direct questions and calls to.
  • Have a basic understanding of external crisis supports.
  • Understand the referral process.
  • Complete appointment bookings and confirmation calls.
  • Complete facility room and Zoom/Webex conference scheduling.
  • Register new patients.
  • Photocopy and fax documents as required.
  • Liaise with couriers and manage interoffice mail/external mail.
  • Organize supplies inventory and ordering.
  • Manage patient appointments, schedule inperson meetings, and schedule weekly case conferences and parent group.
  • Take minutes for team meetings, case conferences and leadership meetings

Qualifications

  • Medical office assistant and/or business administration certificate/diploma is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel).
  • High level of accuracy with data entry.
  • Two years of related administrative experience in a medical office setting.

Conditions of Employment

  • Proof of COVID19 vaccination or exemption on the basis of a protected legal ground.
