Description
Responsibilities
- Organize and ensure clear, concise communications with employees regarding status of jobs, delivery/returns, paperwork, procedures, training, meetings, and projects.
- Assist Manager with work orders, jobs, and projects
- Responsible for scheduling, TCP's, LCT's, drivers and organizing the daily dispatch of all jobs
- Maintain the dispatch board, schedule, and perform record keeping as needed
- Work with staffing agencies when seasonal staff are required to fulfill a job
- Ensure accuracy of rental contact prior to dispatching drivers
- Completion of appropriate seminars, meetings & training to keep abreast of changes in the industry
- Strive to meet or exceed targeted goals
- Forecast workload for 23 days' out
- Assist Fleet Coordinator with questions/concerns regarding truck repairs and needs
- Other duties as assigned
- approves all flagging hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration is an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in a variety of MS Office Suite products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in the Traffic Control/Construction Industry is an asset
