Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Inspects all incoming units for the Landing Gear, Wheel, and Brake Departments.
- Create purchase orders for all vendor repairs.
- Scans all completed work orders.
- Creates work orders for all incoming units in Quantum and Microsoft Access.
- Inspects units to be shipped prior to packing.
- Uses UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other major freight companies to create international and domestic shipments.
- Packs outgoing shipments into various sized boxes and envelopes using a foam machine and electric tape dispenser.
- Communicates with representatives in all departments to confirm customer needs and rectify customer issues.
- Uses forklift to assist all departments.
- Maintains responsibility for shipping and receiving area trash removal.
- Drives company van for vendor and corporate airline pick-up and delivery.
- Uses pallet jack for incoming and outgoing shipments weighing over 150 pounds.
- Palletizes and stretches wrap all used/scrap tires for removal.
