Description
We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Room Attendant.The Room Attendant performs routine duties in the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Housekeeper.
The Room Attendant is expected to promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly, and able to address guest requests and problems.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Dust furniture
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Stock linen closet
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
- Clean and disinfect elevators
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
- Provide basic information on facilities
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
