Responsibilities:


What your day will look like

  • Assist with Building Energy Audits
  • Organize and record utility bills and complete analysis
  • Attend energy audits with Engineer and help record data from sites
  • Printing and assembly of final reports
  • Pricing and technical research for some hardware equipment
  • Maintain and grow the equipment used for site visit measurement
  • Research available incentives for ECM's
  • Organize drawings received from client and prepare them for energy modeling
  • Generate small reports based on any research conducted around new building technologies

Qualifications:

What you will need to succeed

  • Some working knowledge of building energy modeling with HOT2000, DOE2, and EnergyPlus
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office Tools (Work, Excel, PowerPoint with Access as a bonus)
  • Knowledgeable with RETScreen 4 and/or RETScreen Plus and experienced in AutoCAD
  • Strong English language skills for oral and written communication

Experience:


  • Obtained a university degree (undergrad or masters level) in a technical based program related to building sciences
  • Internship Experience in Similar Position is an Asset
  • Good academic or practical experience with building equipment and systems
