The Opportunity
SAIT is seeking an instructor for the: Network Systems Specialist Fast Track Program.

Reporting to the Academic Chair, this position requires specific knowledge and skills to teach several courses in the program which may include:

IT Essentials
Linux Installation and Administration

Cisco CCNA Level

Cisco CCNA Level

Cisco CCNA Level

Virtualized Infrastructure
Career Planning & Management
Network Resilience and Scalability
Cloud and Server Administration
Network Security
Network Design and Implementation Project

The Role:

Create a positive learning environment.
Ensure relevant content exists and grades are maintained in the learning management system (LMS)
Ensure learning outcomes are met.
Use available resources, tools, techniques, and strategies, to ensure student success.
Work collaboratively with colleagues.
Prepare lessons plans to ensure classroom success.
Conduct regular office hours, providing support, guidance, and advice to students.
Demonstrate competencies in leadership, communication, teamwork, problem solving, emotional intelligence, and time management.
Respond to student requests in a timely manner.
Complete any assigned training.
Attend meetings, infosessions and orientations prepared and ontime.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 35 years professional experience in information technology, with a focus on one or more of the technical skills noted above.
Previous teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring experience is strongly preferred
Postsecondary education in a related field.

Relevant certifications such as:

Cisco Certified Instructor
VMWare Certified Instructor
Palo Alto Certified Instructor
Microsoft Azure Certified
