    Temporary Financial Analysts
    (Various Locations Downtown and within Greater Vancouver)
    $32-55 per hour

    The role:
    As a Temporary Financial Analyst, you'll play a vital role in analyzing and interpreting financial data, ensuring financial compliance, and aiding in strategic decision-making processes. Acting as a link between various departments, you'll gain invaluable insights into financial strategy, broaden your professional network, enjoy the challenge and variety of a fast-paced environment, and contribute significantly to the efficiency of the organization.

    Typical responsibilities include:
    • Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial data to aid in financial reporting and analysis.
    • Predicting future financial trends and identifying patterns in financial performance.
    • Assisting in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts by analyzing the company's financial records.
    • Evaluating both current and historical financial data to make investment recommendations.
    • Staying up-to-date with financial news and studying economic trends for better investment analysis.
    • Using spreadsheet models for financial modeling to predict outcomes of financial decisions.
    • Creating models for various scenarios to assist in the company's future planning.
    • Providing advice to management on potential financial implications of business decisions.
    • Preparing reports and presentations for executives and stakeholders.
    • Analyzing financial risks associated with business decisions, which includes evaluating economic conditions and performing competitor analysis.
    • Ensuring the company's compliance with financial regulations and standards.
    • Keeping abreast with changes in financial regulations to ensure the company's financial practices are aligned.
    Requirements:
    • Previous experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial role.
    • CFA designation, or currently studying towards CFA is preferred.
    • Proficient in financial software and MS Office (Excel in particular).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and challenges.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships with key stakeholders.
    • High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks and communications.
