The _Auditor, Field Services_ will be part of our Waste Optimization division and is responsible for conducting Waste Audits to assist our clients meet their corporate and regulatory sustainability initiatives.

You'll be working alongside a collaborative and empowering team surrounded by industry experts in delivering environmental solutions to a wide array of clients.

This is a 12-month contract position that reports to the division Manager and is based out of our Toronto office.

What you will do:


  • Conduct physical waste audits at client properties to determine garbage and recycling quantities and composition
  • Measure the effectiveness of existing waste management systems
  • Review waste infrastructure and equipment rightsizing and identify opportunities to enhance waste management systems
  • Collect, analyze and evaluate overall waste data to develop waste reduction work plans and recommendations
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment
  • Ensure all work is carried out inaccordance with health and safety protocols and procedures
  • Provide support to other departments as required

What you bring to the role:

  • High school diploma or post secondary education
  • Waste auditing and/or waste management knowledge is an asset
  • Valid Driver's License and fulltime access to a vehicle
  • Available to travel regionally and nationally
  • Available to work outside of regular business hours when required
  • Able to lift bags and equipment up to approximately 30 lbs
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, mainly Word and Excel
  • Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Problemsolving skills, adaptability and ability to perform duties under mínimal supervision
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
