About the role

THIS IS ONE OF A KIND OPPORTUNITY WITH HIGH VISIBILITY
We're looking for an IT Business Analyst Specialist to join our Group Financial Control team, North America and UK&I.


What you'll do here:


  • Act as the primary resource for the implementation of our new program based on data analysis.
  • Work closely with the Senior Data Analyst as you focus on the three pillars of the new program:
  • Identify new data sources that can be used in financial audits:
  • Document the endtoend processes of these new data sources.
  • Create and operationalize new automated controls based on these data flows to replace manual control activities.
  • Create and operationalize a testing strategy for data migrations and conversions.
  • Prepare and present the selected strategies to various hierarchical levels of the IT and Business teams.

What you bring to the table:

  • Eight years of experience as a Business Analyst at Intact.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Billing, Investment, HR and Finance systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices for access management, change management (source code and configuration) and information transfer between systems.
  • Very good knowledge of best practices in managing the Segregation of Duties (SoD).
  • Very good knowledge of best practices for migrating and converting data between databases.
  • Proven experience in evaluating and improving processes and controls.
  • Bilingualism (French-English) at an "advanced business" level (oral and written fluency). _You will interact regularly with colleagues across the country_.
  • No Canadian work experience is required, but you must be eligible to work in Canada.
