Description

Spruce Lodge is a 128 bed Long Term Care facility located in Stratford. We are looking to hire an energetic, resident focused and compassionate Activity Coordinator. This position is full time for approximately 12 months.

We pay for a full 8 hour day, have free on site parking, and provide our staff with a meal for each shift.

All employees are also able to access our Employee Assistance Program. Occasional weekend work is required, however you will be compensated with a day off through the week.

Qualifications and Specifications:

Recreation Leadership OR
Post-Secondary School Certificate in Gerontology and/or Activation
Experience working with seniors required

Duties:

̈ Assisting and organizing leisure activities for residents

̈ Coordinating activities provided community groups and individual volunteers

̈ Collaborating with inter-disciplinary team to meet resident needs

̈ Other duties as assigned by manager

It is a requirement to have both Covid vaccines plus the third booster dose for this position.

Job Types:

Salary:
$19.81-$22.07 per hour
