Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical labor on job sites such as carrying materials, and using hand tools.
- Assist skilled workers with specific tasks.
- Clean and prepare sites by removing debris and materials.
- Operate equipment under supervision.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience in construction or general labor preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools is a plus.
Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months
Pay:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kanata, ON K2K 1X7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
