Social Media & Community Lead
We are seeking a highly organized and creatively driven Social Media & Community Lead to steward and grow our online community across key platforms, including website, CRM, and social. This role brings a refined point of view and proven experience building content and community strategies that spark meaningful engagement through thoughtful, curated storytelling. Partnering cross-functionally, the Lead will help elevate brand awareness by delivering seasonal narratives across digital, print, experiential, and social touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Execution
- Lead the development, ongoing execution, and coordination of all written content in support of the Bugatchi brand and its business objectives.
- Execute content strategies for seasonal campaigns and special projects as needed.
- Write and deliver e-commerce copy informed by SEO and GEO best practices.
- Produce all copy for loyalty and personalization initiatives, including email, SMS, website content, and related brand programs.
Brand Voice & Editorial Excellence
- Uphold rigorous quality control standards to ensure all content is consistent, accurate, and aligned with the brand's tone of voice.
- Assist in writing, implementing, and evolving tone and stylistic guidelines.
- Consistently apply brand writing standards and best practices across all touchpoints.
- Participate in editorial reviews and content approval meetings.
Social Listening
- Daily monitoring of brand-level conversations, sentiment, and relevant cultural or industry moments that can serve to further engage community authentically.
- Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential reputational risks coupled with proposed strategies to address.
- Share strategic insights to inform content direction, campaigns, brand moments.
Social Strategy & Advisory
- Evolve and refine an always-on organic social strategy aligned with brand and business goals.
- Establish guidance on tone, cadence, and content formats for each channel.
- Contribute to strategies developed for launches, seasonal moments, and brand initiatives.
Brand-Led Social Engagement
- Proactive engagement with relevant brands, media, creators, partners, and cultural conversations.
- Ad hoc reacting to timely moments that align with Bugatchi's brand voice and positioning
- Thoughtful participation in industry and lifestyle conversations to build relevance and visibility.
- Strategic recommendations on when to engage vs. when to remain silent.
- Manage customer service inquiries, order issues, or product support; DM and inbox management; response time SLAs or service escalation.
Content Support & Counsel
- Strategic input and feedback on content development to ensure alignment with social best practices.
- Recommendations on formats, narratives, and timing to improve engagement.
- Guidance on reactive or opportunistic content opportunities.
Reporting & Insights
- Monthly reporting focused on engagement, growth, and brand resonance.
- Qualitative insights on what is working and where to optimize.
- Alignment of organic social learnings with broader marketing efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordination with paid and performance marketing teams to ensure alignment
- Support on integrated campaigns, launches, and key initiatives.
- Advisory support to ensure social activity reinforces broader business objectives.
- Partner closely with marketing, creative, and e-commerce teams to align content with campaign objectives and timelines.
- Ensure copy is fully integrated with creative concepts and channel strategies.
- Build effective working relationships to secure timely feedback and approvals and meet publishing deadlines.
Operational Excellence & Workflow Management
- Maintain a disciplined content production schedule, managing deadlines across multiple initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with creative, marketing, and e-commerce calendars, updating copy across impacted channels in a timely manner.
- Complete detailed technical briefs for all copy, including site links, legal fine print, and segmentation directives.
Performance Optimization & Insights
- Leverage email, SMS, and website performance data to optimize engagement and conversion.
- Optimize processes to protect our top of mind position and reduce time to react
- Conduct competitive and linguistic trend research to inform content strategy and elevate brand relevance.
Requirements – The successful candidate should possess the following attributes and abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or similar focus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media and/or marketing positions, preferably for a luxury fashion brand, with a significant focus on community building.
- Have the drive to grow a quickly developing luxury fashion business.
- Highly analytical, structured thinker who is able to glean clear, salient ideas from complex information and very clearly communicate them to management and other teams.
- Detail-oriented and organized and excited by the prospect of helping develop and expand the organizational structure.
- Strong organizational skills and knowledge.
- Anticipate and resolve creative challenges by using appropriate resources and/or solution.
- Perform independently and within a team environment. Be a self-motivated starter with a strong work ethic, integrity and professionalism.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build quality relationships at all levels of management.
- No task too small mentality, willing to roll up sleeves and get things done.
- Be detail oriented with excellent written, verbal, problem solving and planning skills; and
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as solution-focused and agile with different tasks within a fast-paced environment
