We are looking for a

Systems Manager (Operations) to join our Vancouver-based Information Systems team.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include:

Manage and organize operational resources. This includes recruitment, supervision, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions.
Review current operational policies and procedures and implement improvements working with the CRM and Corporate Systems Senior Manager.
Work with business units and affiliates to discuss current support model and improvements.
Oversee all documentation related to systems that the CRM and Corporate Systems team support and make sure it is up to date.
Maintain relationships with third party vendors to ensure satisfactory and adequate support.

What You Bring
-
Experience: You have a minimum of 3-5 years managerial experience, preferably in a similar role. This includes experience managing direct reports. You have 5-10 years' experience in a technical role with some software development knowledge.

Knowledge: You have an Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or similar. Experience working in an institutional investment firm is an asset.

Tech Savvy: You are familiar with programming languages. You are knowledgeable using.
NET and MS SQL. You have a passion about technology, learning new languages, and concepts.

Analytic & Strategic: You possess an analytical mind, enjoy solving problems, and have an ability to perform deep thoughtful analysis to discover solutions.

Operational Excellence: You have an approach and track record in achieving operational excellence where personal drive, high quality work, and getting things done are critical success factors.

Collaborative Communication: You have a collaborative spirit that helps you work well with others and communicate effectively.
