We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated
Clinical Supervisor who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness and empowerment to our clients, families and each other.


The
Clinical Supervisor works collaboratively with the newcomer programs to provide a standardized approach to clinical oversight of the case management teams within the Newcomer Services Department.

This position is a
unionized,
temporary, full-time position. The rate of pay is $27.33 per hour. This is a 6-month contract starting April 2023.

**Key Responsibilities: - Provide clinical oversight of intensive case management across the newcomer services department and provides direct service to own caseload

  • Perform audits on Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database when required; ensure documentation/data is being completed based on Wesley Case Management, Standards of Practice.
  • Maintain best practices across Newcomer Services Department
  • Support clinical consultation on complex care issues to intensive case managers and other stakeholders;
  • Develop a core set of skills for case management teams that have defined expectations and accountability attached to them, according to Wesley Case Management, Standards of Practice and other related policies and practices.
  • Works collaboratively to develop, implement and monitor case plans and communicates ongoing Newcomer Service successes and areas for improvement to the Newcomer Management team.
  • Complete reports when required.
  • Works in partnership with professionals from other organizations that support clients such as social care, health, police, education, youth serving agencies and early childhood services
  • Evaluate the program on an ongoing basis and recommend service delivery changes.
  • Attend and/or run staff meetings and training sessions as required.

What you will bring:


  • At least 5 years relevant, practical experience with the target population
  • Must be registered with the College of Social workers and Social Service workers and in good standing.
  • Experience providing clinical oversight, with a strong understanding of accountability, stewardship, continuous improvements
  • Strong case management experience with demonstrated knowledge of best practices
  • Excellent communication, organization, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and highstress situations.
  • Knowledge of the settlement services and integration process and working knowledge of challenges faced by newcomers to Canada.
  • Extensive knowledge of community programs, services, and resources.
  • Must be willing to be mobile in the community.
