Description:

The
Payroll & Benefits Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll and benefits administration.

In this role, you will perform various HR functions including but not limited to:
Payroll, employee data/HRIS, employee benefits and rewards administration, and support HR program development.

  • A Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration or related area of study.
  • Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) through the Canadian Payroll Association is an asset.
  • Three years previous experience in a similar role. Municipal work experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of payroll, accounting practices and report writing.
  • Strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple projects with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • The ability to work well on your own and with others in a team setting.
  • Excellent internal customer service orientation and skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.

This contract opportunity will be up to 15 months in length.
The hourly wage for this position is $ $44.60 per hour. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
