Description

We are a friendly, general dentistry practice in North Whitby looking for a part time dental assistant. Non-corporate, 4 operatory practice. Relaxed, supportive office culture.

3 days a week to start but must be available to work Tuesdays

- availability 1-2 Saturdays (8:30am-2pm) per month is an asset. Never on long weekends

Fully computerized practice running on Abeldent software, Carestream sensors and Trios Digital scanner

Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Sterilize and disinfect instruments
Assist the dentist during procedures such as fillings, crowns, root canals and extractions
Harp certification required to take dental xrays
Educate patients about oral hygiene
