VitalAire is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated RRT/RN/LPN for our Regina branch (12 month contract).

The Clinical Sleep Consultant provides all respiratory services with a focus on Sleep Diagnostics and Therapeutics to the client while collaborating with referring physicians and ensuring patient safety.


  • Conduct appointments and setup of equipment for sleep diagnostic testing based on American Academy Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines.
  • Evaluate client therapies based on referrals and then determine respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
  • Initiate PAP therapy when prescribed, providing patients with education, instructions of use, and cleaning and maintaining of their equipment.
  • Provides appropriate regular followup to clients to evaluate effects of therapeutic care, recommending adjustments and modifications if required to increase compliance and comfort with therapy.
  • Actively promotes related products and provides solutions to client needs.
  • Responsible for maintaining most up to date continuing education as related to the position to ensure that clients are receiving most current therapies and devices.
  • Recognizes the importance of client safety in the Air Liquide Healthcare organization.
  • Responsible for following established company protocols for the cleaning and disinfection of all equipment.
  • Responsible for all required administration tasks.
  • Responsible for complying and maintaining knowledge of all funding processes and systems.
  • Ensures quality documentation through completion of all company documentation and forms (both digital and nonelectronic) as per policy.
  • Maintains client confidentiality and protects Air Liquide Healthcare's operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Seeks to continuously improve the operation of the branch by evaluating processes and workflow, and participating in other quality improvement activities.
  • Provides new staff and student instruction, supervision and evaluation when necessary.
  • Participates in oxygen and other respiratory services including on call when required.

Are you a MATCH?:


Here's what you will need

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • RPN/LPN and or RPSGT or CCSH
  • Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist
  • College Certificate or Diploma in a Technical/ Medical Science field where permitted
  • Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body
  • Good knowledge of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and CPAP therapy
  • Ability to drive long distances in all weather conditions
  • Ability to participate in oncall rotation (as required)
