- $ $33.19/HourThe City of Port Moody is seeking enthusiastic and customer service oriented individuals to provide building maintenance and janitorial services on an auxiliary basis. This position works various shifts as required, including evenings and weekends.


This position will perform janitorial and custodial tasks and will also be responsible for minor maintenance and repair work as well as facility setup and take downs in a variety of recreation facilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Building Service Worker (BSW) Certification
  • Grade 12 supplemented with janitorial courses and related experience
  • Proficiency in the use of janitorial materials, tools and equipment
  • Sound knowledge of routine building maintenance and minor repairs
  • Ability to work independently in ongoing areas of responsibility
  • Awareness of safe work practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and Level 1 First Aid
  • Experience within a recreation facility would be an asset
