Job Opportunity:
We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to generate individual sales to meet or exceed the annual specified sales target value established for the Sales Engineer.
What you'll do:_
- Achieve profitable sales target
- Attain sales target through existing employer clients, reviving dormant employer accounts and prospecting and developing new clients
- Procure orders based on quoted projects
- Develop new customers and automation markets
- Maintain at least 610 active repeat customers that will contribute to sales revenue
- Discusses automation projects with existing and new customers
- Travels to customer facilities for new project discussion and presentations
- Prepare and/or support the preparation of sales concept drawings, using Solidworks and/or AutoCad, as required
- Prepares and/or support the preparation of sales schedules, sales sequence/cycle time charts, and quotation pricing spreadsheet using MS Project and/or MS Excel, as required
- Prepare and submit quotations for customers
- Attend Weekly Sales Meetings to discuss with the sales manager/owner and other Sales Account Managers the status of quoted jobs and strategies for closing and other opportunities
- Maintain sales forecast of probable and imminent jobs
- Participate in analysis of closed jobs for identifying areas of concern and areas of excellence
- Communicate with management, fellow staff and customers with respect to any project concerns, project status, and possible area solutions
- Assist delegated project manager/production planner that is assigned to projects
- Occasional travel as required within North America
What you'll need:_
- Minimum Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Communications, Engineering or Equivalent Specialized Experience
- 3 years experience selling custom automated assembly and test equipment
- Recent sales experience selling automated systems in one or more of the following segments: Automotive, Medical Devices, Electric Vehicle, and/or Electronic Modules/Assemblies, considered an asset
