Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team.

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in machining and mechanical knowledge to showcase their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine specifications
  • Select the appropriate tools, dies, and punches for each job
  • Position and align metal sheets on the machine bed
  • Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and back gauge position
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of bends
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers or other measuring instruments for dimensional accuracy
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
  • Ability to set up and operate press brake machines
  • Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers
  • Knowledge of CNC controls

$20.00-$29.00 per hour
