The Legal Coordinator - Canada will provide support for the Canadian Legal Team.

The position is located in the Toronto or Oakville area and will also remotely support legal team members across Canada.

This role reports to the Canadian General Counsel.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure legal team follows through promptly on employee and leader requests and inquiries.

Manage the Canadian Legal inboxes.

Project support - Participate in legal initiatives to create and implement legal best practices across HUB.


Learning and Development support - Position will assist and lead a variety of learning legal initiatives with corporate employees including Contracts and Employment law.

Operational efficiency projects - Identify opportunities and assist the Legal team by driving initiatives that improve efficiencies.


REQUIREMENTS:

Recent Bachelor's degree in Law-related field, Business, or similar, OR Paralegal/Clerk Certificate.

Some experience or interest in maintaining workflow and schedules, administrative work, handling sensitive and confidential information, or Legal systems.

Professional maturity appropriate for maintaining confidentiality.

Demonstrated computer proficiency - Excel, Office 360 and PowerPoint are essential.

Detail oriented and organized when reviewing, consolidating, and manipulating data.

Ability to influence business decisions using data analysis and analytics.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing business needs and demands.

Adaptability and ability to handle ambiguous situations.


LOCATION
This position is a hybrid role that can be located out of our Oakville or downtown Toronto office.
