Our collision center is looking to add an Auto body Detailer to the team.

Reporting to our Collision Center Manager, the Auto body Detailer responsibilities include.

Responsibilities:

Cleans vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by washing equipment
Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
Inspect body and refinish repairs for deficiencies that may impact the quality of the delivery process; advise production supervisor as required
Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
Maintains quality service by following Assured quality standards, conducting final inspections and correcting deficiencies
The shop is to be kept clean by sweeping and daily emptying of garbage containers
Maintain a clean and orderly production area throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay updated with rapidly changing automotive technology
Works in accordance with the daily production schedule

Qualifications

A clean, valid driver's license is a must along able to drive a manual transmission.
Wet sanding & Polishing experience is a must.
A keen eye for detail and a desire to succeed.
Must work well in a team environment and still have the ability to work independently when required.
Autobody Experience will be an asset

Requirements:

Experience: Detailing: 3 year
License or certification: Class 5 Drivers License with the ability to drive manual transmission
Steeltoed work boots/shoes
Experience in Body Shop

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour
