Job Purpose:


The Project Manager, Philanthropy Enablement provides project management and operational support to the Philanthropy Enablement Services team that implements the customer journey for high-net worth donors, corporates, foundations, and Churches.


Supporting the whole Philanthropy Enablement team, the Project Manager, Philanthropy Enablement ensures smooth operations by providing scrum-master services, process mapping, project plan tracking, end-to-end project support and ensuring teams have the resources they need to operate most effectively and efficiently.

Utilizing Kanban and agile principles is key for this role.


Responsibilities:


  • Utilizing scrum and agile principles, provide scrum master services to Philanthropy Marketing team through managing intake requests, tracking of backlog, facilitation and coordination of all preBig Room Planning meetings
  • Support with quarterly planning by scheduling meetings, preparing presentation on previous quarter's deliverables, facilitating internal planning discussions, and preparing the program boardUtilizing scrum and agile principles, support kanban board tracking for Enablement team to track project progress
  • Support Philanthropy Enablement team to liaise with other parts of the organization through inputing and tracking intake requests (e.g. Product Alignment, Programs & Policy, Events)
  • Provide Jira support such as perform daily checks, update all Philanthropy Jira items to ensure they are not missing any key components, labels, epic or parent links, etc.
  • Perform regular checks and updates to Jira dashboards, plan, roadmap, and ensure uptodate JQLs.
  • Monitor for delayed and overdue Jira items and followup with assignees.
  • Act as a Requestify agent to monitor and review incoming tickets and assign to the appropriate team member.
Support Philanthropy marketing team with resource gathering when needed to ensure donor requirements are met

  • Support process mapping to create, map out and implement new processes across the Philanthropy team together with relevant stakeholders
  • Responsible for annual reporting process and ensuring the delivery of reports from planning to completion
  • Be a resource for frontfacing Advisors to obtain information from other departments in a timely manner for e.g. child sponsorship requests
  • Support all teams to access sponsored children for events both digitally and in person
  • Maintain Philanthropy Teams folders to ensure a well organized filing system and create new resources for information sharing as needed
  • Provide support on ad hoc requests

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Knowledge and experience of Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Minimum 35 years of project management or business analyst experience
  • Project Management certification (PMP) is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to build strong crossfunctional relationships and delight internal clients
  • Advanced skills with project management software, MSFT products (Excel, SharePoint, Teams),Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) and CRM systems
  • Demonstrated organizational, project management, financial, agile, lean and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of deploying large volume of projects on time, in scope, within budget, and meeting other related KPIs
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of marketing discipline and/or nonprofit sector
