Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Red Seal Chef Instructor to join our team.

As a Red Seal Chef Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching culinary arts classes to students, providing hands-on training, and helping to develop curriculum materials.

Responsibilities:

Plan and teach culinary arts courses to students in accordance with the Ontario curriculum
Prepare lesson plans and curriculum materials
Provide handson training and mentorship to students in the kitchen
Ensure a safe and clean work environment in the kitchen and classrooms
Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the culinary arts program

Requirements:

Red Seal certification in Culinary Arts
Postsecondary degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Chef
Experience in teaching culinary arts courses is an asset
Knowledge of Ontario curriculum and education standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks
Passion for teaching and mentoring students
