Grant Writer and Researcher
Latincouver Cultural & Business Society - Vancouver, BC

(Temporary / Part-time / paid position)

Latincouver is a non-profit organization that, for the past 12 years, has been connecting over 100,000 Latin Americans with Latin enthusiasts living in Western Canada.

As of today, we are the point of reference within the Latin American community in British Columbia.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Researching government, foundation, and corporate grants and other grantmaking organizations
Maintaining reports on a calendar of submissions and other deadlines
Writing grant proposals on behalf of Latincouver
Application of 1 grant per month
Monthly report and describe hours and grants worked
Establishing and maintaining working relationships with grant funders

Requirements and Skills

Exceptional English communication and editing skills
Being detailoriented and excellent organizational management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality, pay attention to detail and maintain accurate records
Experience in working for fundraisings and nonprofits

Working Hours
:20 hours per week

Wages
:
$17-19 per hour depending on experience
Working period
:12 weeks with possibility to extend

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
