Description

The Hatchery Solutions Designer will be responsible primarily to coordinate income requests for Commercial Hatchery Layouts, HVAC Quotes, Service Drawings and Project Coordination.


Position Objectives

  • Assist agent/distributor network around the world as necessary to support the required solutions and sales growth while broadening and further developing strategic partners in order to meet increasing sophistication in the requirements of the customer base.
  • Implement well planned hatchery solutions based on respective regions.

  • Deliver existing and new reports that are required in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Project Management and Sales Meetings when necessary.
  • Share all customer contacts and information through our CRM system.
  • Detailed description of weekly functions and activities
  • Maintain customer history information.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

  • Commercial Coordination of Hatchery and HVAC offerings and solutions.
  • Manage and report of project activity, timelines & plans based on sales funnel.
  • Daily management of new requests.
  • Provide monthly reporting of project activity, timelines & plans based on sales funnel.
  • Produce supporting info for mechanical and electrical demands.
  • Coordinate IHH supplying ventilation quotes and detailed drawings.
  • Assist in plenum quoting.
  • BOM for plenum materials.
  • BOM for HVAC equipment.
  • Technical documentation compilation writing and updating.
  • Travel to partners, existing or potential customer sites and/or accompany potential customers to the Cambridge HQ and manufacturing location or to other customer sites.
  • Assist in development of solutions conducive to hatchery automation.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Order Management by communicating customer requirements, installation expectations and needed customer support.
  • Order review process
  • Provide sales support with hatchery solutions and design, ensuring customer needs are satisfied.
  • Provide support to customers and service during project planning and implementation.
  • Ensure service managers understand technician needs and timelines for HVAC delivery.
  • Provide service with all required documentation (project services drive)

Practical skill, knowledge and prior accomplishments in the following functional areas are desired:


  • Engineering: project design and hatchery solutions. Skilled in AutoCad and Revit. Technology mechanical and electrical basis to understand and support our core product line.

Managing: Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking.

Marketing: assistance with promotion of department.

Technical Sales: commercial project management, technical document preparation and disbursement.

Service: service strategies and organization, project management, service costing, customer satisfaction management


Education and/or Experience:


  • College or University degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering or Industrial/Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 23 years as a drafter or designer.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, SolidWorks software packages.

Salary:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

  • HVAC: 2 years (preferred)
  • Auto
