- Reporting high risk situations (as per agency policy), safety/security and resident or public grievances. Following up with unusual and complex problems and policy interpretations.
- Maintaining awareness and managing risks to clients, staff and the organization.
- Holding staff responsible for compliance with agency values, shelter standards and policies.
- Attending quarterly virtual on-call meetings to discuss on-call themes and on-call schedule with fellow on-call managers/supervisors
- Strong knowledge of feminism and understanding of diversity, Anti-racism and Anti-oppression - cross-cultural perspective and awareness.

Description
Do you desire a community that is free from violence and abuse in any of its forms? Providing emotional support and practical service? Contract – One week at a time rotation of on call duties, Friday at 5pm to the following Friday at 9am.
In the unlikely event that there is not staff to work an overnight or weekend shift you would be expected to fill the shift or partial shift.
Receiving calls during the week on call, providing direction, scheduling and support to Residential Workers and Relief Residential Workers.
Master Degree in Social Work (MSW) degree, along with a minimum of three years management experience in the VAW field.
Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Registered Social Workers or equivalent registered organization.We also offer a robust region-wide outreach support program which supports families who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence.
