Bookkeeper - Part Time - Barrie, Canada - The Speech Clinic
Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with our fulltime bookkeeper to help maintain accurate and uptodate financial records for the company
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and submit invoices to clients
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employees
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
- Proficient in using accounting software
Sage
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and general accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of payroll processing is a plus
Your attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and willingness to work will contribute to the accuracy of our financial records.

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Sage: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
