Founded in 1995 to support two individuals, Arcane Horizon has grown to support over 60 individuals presently, with a variety of different support services.

Overseeing operations within a home and providing direct support to individuals with an intellectual disability
Providing positive leadership and direction to the staff team
Being an advocate for the individuals supported by the agency
Researching and implementing activities
Being a part of the agency's emergency oncall rotation
Attend and participate in annual individual planning sessions as required
Perform crisis management as required
Complete payroll, scheduling and other clerical duties

Qualifications:

A minimum of two years supervisory experience in a supported living setting is required
A minimum of three years experience working in residential support situations required
Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends as required
Postsecondary education in Social Work, Psychology, Community Support/Supervisions or a related discipline considered an asset
Highly selfmotivated and able to manage with a minimum of supervision
Energetic and motivated with a demonstrated ability to motivate others
Excellent time management and organizational skills a must
Working knowledge of current Vulnerable Persons legislation an asset
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Possess a valid 5F driver's license and a car
