Position Summary:
Acuren is currently recruiting for API Inspectors/Visual Inspectors, to support with spring tunraround work in the Alberta/Saskatchewan area. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.


Position Information:


  • Cenovus Upgrader Lloydminster, SK
  • Approx. 72 hours per week
  • Project starting May 13, 202
  • Duration approx. 56 weeks with potential to expand to other projects after
  • Project based, rotation will be 6 days on, 1 day off, 12 hrs/day (pending client requirements)
  • Requires travel to work site
  • Accommodations and travel provided

Responsibilities:


  • At the direction of client, perform visual and nondestructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standard 653/510/570 and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
  • Submit to client technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
  • Provide client with technical recommendations for the repair, rerate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters for durations specified by client.
  • Provide technical input to client as required for welding and metallurgical issues.
  • Fully comply with all Acuren and client safe work practices and actively participate in all site safety initiatives.
