KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Acts as first point of contact for the team providing systems business & production support, consultation, troubleshooting and coordination for all units within Mobis Parts Canada.
  • Lead and actively supervise the team of Systems and Business Analysts as member of the Systems & Infrastructure group to understand national and crossdepartmental business processes, facilitate crossfunctional improvements, assist with prioritization and develop strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Schedule and conduct team meetings, communicate strategic objectives to team.
  • Monitor system results, take necessary corrective action and drive resolution at the root cause with any production issue.
  • Be an integral part of brainstorming, designing, testing and implementing system and business process and procedures.
  • Document and analyze business processes, system requirements, and report requirements, and conducts data flow analysis and business process modeling.
  • Participates in cross divisional efforts and represents the division's business requirements, interests and strategic direction; with reference to the MPCA Strategic Plan. Liaise between MPCA internal business users, MPA (US) developers, external business partners to create business requirement documents.
  • Using advance SQL skills to complete detailed process analysis; gather data, investigate causeeffect relationships, identify root cause of production issues, summarize analysis and findings, and devise plan of action.
  • Analyze Java, Cobol Program sources and SQL queries.
  • Develop and maintain a program of standard work processes and best practices.
  • Provide project status updates and feedback to the business units.
  • Working with Systems and Infrastructure Manager to build and refine a stellar Systems and Business Analyst team to better support the organization.
  • Assist with related training initiatives, as required.
  • Occasional travel between Mobis locations within North America

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • College or University education or equivalent.
  • 35 years of experience in a Business Analyst Supervisory role in a distribution, Supply Chain and Operations industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of business processes and flow in a distribution, Supply Chain and Operations industry.
  • Previous experience as a product manager or product owner consider an asset.
  • Advance skills with SQL select statements, able to write queries and understand SQL Database structures.
  • Advanced analytical and strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Access/Data warehouse, Power Point, Power BI.
  • Proven leadership in projects, influencing and facilitation skills and business acumen.
  • Flexibility to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects.
  • Highly selfmotivated.
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
  • Very strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills.
