Recreation Program Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Create programs that allow youth to discover interests, talents, and new hobbies
Recruit, supervise, actively mentor and train staff and volunteers
Encourage and promote lifelong learning and healthy lifestyles to children, youth and families
Develop and implement programs based on member feedback
Ensure quality, evidencebased programs are delivered
Actively recruit and engage youth
Collaborate with youth serving agencies, schools and community partners
Support program delivery, when needed
Manage program budgets
Maintain professional relationships with community partners, peers, members, volunteers, and

parents

A commitment to the Club's mission, vision and values
A university or college degree in recreation, child and youth work, education or a related field
Extensive knowledge and experience in youth program implementation and supervision
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to contribute to the creation of positive team

and workplace dynamic

Demonstrated empathy, approachability and an understanding of others
Successful experience working with a diverse population
Well organized and able to streamline, prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Available to work afternoons, evenings and some weekends
A valid G license and access to a vehicle
A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector check
Proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID19 (2 doses)** selected for an interview will be contacted

Salary Range:
$44,462 to $58,654
