Description

Duties:

Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damage
Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
Calculate the amount of materials needed for each project and ensure proper storage and disposal of paint and other materials
Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear during all painting activities

Skills:

Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Hand tools: Proficiency in using various hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, and sandpaper
Construction painting: Familiarity with painting new construction projects, including residential homes or commercial buildings
Residential painting: Experience in painting interior and exterior surfaces of residential properties
Power tools: Competence in operating power tools such as paint sprayers or sanders
