Duties are (but not limited) to the following:
- Performing tasks that involve physical labor at building projects, heavy construction projects and demolition sites;
- Operate all types of hand and power tools;
- Ability to operate machinery but not a requirement
- Able to problem solve and act in a professional manner;
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction commercial buildings and houses;
- Working under operations managers
- Knowledge of carpentry an asset
- Read plans
- Material take offs
Requirements:
(DO NOT APPLY OTHERWISE)**- Minimum 5 years working in a construction environment;
- G License and access to own transportation to get to construction jobs in and around the GTA;
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Ability to operate machinery is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to complete handyman tasks is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work unsupervised/independently/in a team environment with high attention to detail
- Must abide by site safety requirements
