JOB SUMMARY:
The Assembly Technician is tasked with assembling components according to specifications.

You will also use production and inventory tracking tools to record job time and claim parts needed for each assembly.

Our ideal applicant has mechanical assembly experience and manual dexterity.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
  • Produce accurate and itemized orders for customers.
  • Examine new machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality.
  • Design a plan of action for all tasks and upgrades.
  • Maintain work logs when necessary.
  • Communicate with Production Planner to monitor inventory.
  • Keep shop clean and organized.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Mechanical aptitude required.
  • 1+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Manufacturing experience an asset.

TRAINING:

  • Onthejob training will be provided, as needed.
  • Additional training may also be provided, as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS:


The Assembly Technician generally works five days per week but may be required to work outside this schedule depending on business demands.

Regular working hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM but could work earlier or later to meet organizational needs. The Assembly Technician is generally working in an indoor shop environment, standing for the duration of the day.

Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour
